Any American car enthusiast is well acquainted with the name “Chrysler”. This is a car manufacturer that signifies so much in American history and continues to shape history now. I believe that this car manufacturer epitomizes our American values as they have fought back from the brink of irrelevance to the spotlight. Chrysler is doing everything right in this present day, from their advertising campaigns to the cars that are putting out on the streets. That is what this blog is about: the improvements that this once irrelevant car company has made on all fronts.

I firmly stand by my point that Chrysler has personified the American spirit more than any other company, including Chevrolet and Ford. Many people are astonished when I say this and I can understand why: people look at failure as rather un-American. However, I beg to differ, if you look through the past of America, you will see that we have failed many times. The definition of the American spirit is the desire to come back from a failure, that old adage “it doesn’t matter how many times you fall down, what matters is how many times you get back up.” Chrysler was at the top of the automotive world at one point and in one fell swoop it fell to irrelevance. They could have given up there and cut their losses, but instead the company fought back and is now climbing back to the top of the automotive world. That is American.

People often mention how much technology is changing such as televisions and computers, what they fail to realize is that cars are changing just as quickly. Many car manufacturers are finding it difficult to compete with companies that constantly innovate such as Toyota. Chrysler is not one of those manufacturers. They are not using their advertisements to promote their cars; they are letting their cars talk for themselves. This is a great testament to the faith that they have in their product and breeds confidence in consumers. This is a company that is improving upon their classic cars, all the while coming up with all new models to unleash upon American roads.

If I was only allowed one word to describe Chrysler, it would have to be “American”. I know it sounds cheesy to say it like that, but it is true. These cars are true American cars, born and raised in the good old US of A.
